Dear Parents and Carers of Nursery Children,
As you know we have had to close our Nursery class due to a positive case of Covid.
The last contact your children will have had with the person who has tested positive was Monday 28th June. The guidance states, "The isolation period includes the day you were last in contact with the person and the next ten full days." This means your child must isolate until the end of Thursday 8th July and can return to school on Friday 9th July.
The advice from the Director of Public Health for Manchester also recommends a PCR test should be undertaken but the isolation period still remains in place even if this gives a negative result.
We will provide learning for the children and Miss Evans will do a daily story time via google classrooms. We will send more information about this late this afternoon. I know this isolation is frustrating and difficult, but please follow the guidance to prevent a wider outbreak within our community.
