1) SENDCo and Class teacher 

Permanent from January 2026 (MPS/UPS + TLR for SEN) 

Required to start in January 2026. 

Closing date 22nd September 2025 

The Governors of St John Bosco RC Primary School, Blackley, Manchester, are seeking to appoint a teaching Special Educational Needs and Dversity Co-ordinator to support our children & families. 

Our new SENDCo will lead and manage provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring compliance with statutory guidance, promoting inclusive practices and working collaboratively with staff, parents and external professionals to help our children achieve their full potential. Our SENDCo will also teach the Year 2 class for part of the week.  

2) Fixed term SEN Teaching Assistant Level 2 Grade 4 Term Time only 

 Required to start in September 2025 

 Hours:  32.5 hours per week, term time only, Scale point 7 pro rata £20,366 per annum

 The Governing Body would like to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and talented teaching assistant with SEND experience to join our team throughout school. 

We would like you to be able to: 

Work with children on a one to one basis as part of our SEND Team, under the supervision of the class teacher implementing actions in Learning Support Plans and ensuring EHCP outcomes are achieved.

*Work with small groups of children with SEND to support them with their learning and carry out interventions.  
• Supervise and provide support to ensure the safety of pupils and enable them to access all areas of the curriculum. 
• Attend to the personal needs of SEND children, including pastoral, social, health, physical hygiene and welfare. 
• Establish good relationships with pupils, parents and staff. 
• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils. 
• Encourage pupils to act independently where appropriate. 
• Be a team player with the ability to further develop our strong Catholic ethos 

3) Lunchtime Organiser

Fixed term from 3rd September 2025- July 2026

£4,238 per annum

Cosing date: Monday 21st July 2025

The Governors of St John Bosco RC Primary School, Blackley, Manchester, are  seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Organiser. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, an hour and a half per day term time only11.50am to 1.20pm.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working as part of a team and is able to use their own initiative
• Has high expectations of behaviour
• Is flexible and motivated
• Has good communication skills
