Robinwood Residential May 2024
In preparation for our children moving onto high school, we have organised an adventure activity residential. The purpose of the trip is to help to develop the children’s organisational skills, resilience and independence as well as giving them the opportunity to enjoy new experiences with their friends and create lifelong memories. In my experience, a residential trip is a much anticipated and treasured highlight of a child’s time at primary school.
The trip is a 3 day / 2 night residential from Monday 20th May – Wednesday 22nd May 2024. We have booked the Maes-y-Nant Activity Centre, Robinwood in Wrexham.
Robinwood specialises in residentials for primary school aged children. They have experienced instructors and provide all meals and equipment that the children will need. Closer to the departure date, we will hold a meeting for parents and children to provide more details and answer any questions you may have.

The cost of the residential and transport is £330 per child and is non-refundable. School is going to subsidise the trip by £100 per child so the cost to you is £230. (All meals are included and children are not allowed to bring spending money).
We would like you to confirm your child’s participation in the trip by Wednesday 9th November by completing the google form linked below.
In order to spread the cost of the trip, we would ask that you make a deposit of £50 and then five payments of £36.00 on the following dates: 10th December, 10th February, 10th March, 10th April and 10th May. Of course, if you would like to pay the amount in full, that would be very helpful.
Payment is to be made via our online School Gateway payment system.
Please can you complete the google form linked here to confirm that your child would like to take part and make the first payment of £50 by Wednesday 8th November as we need to confirm places.

During the Spring term we will organise a meeting for parents and to give you further information and answer any questions you may have. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children and I hope you will be as excited about it as we are.
