šŸŽ„āœØ What a wonderful day at the parish Christmas Fair! Huge thanks to Mrs. Pearson, Mr. McNulty, Mrs. Webster, and Mrs. Byrne for lending a hand at the world-famous chocolate tombola! šŸ«šŸŽ‰ It was so heartwarming to see some of our pupils getting involved and supporting the community. šŸ’™ Itā€™s always lovely to see our school spirit extend into parish life. Hereā€™s to more moments like this!

World Youth FUNday 2024.

We are excited to announceĀ the 2024 theme for World Youth Sunday in England and Wales is, ā€˜Let Your Kingdom Comeā€™. Ā This yearā€™s celebration is particularly meaningful as it aligns with the ongoing Year of Prayer, a time of preparation for the upcoming Jubilee Year 2025: ā€˜Pilgrims of Hopeā€™.'

The theme ā€˜Let Your Kingdom Comeā€™ resonates deeply with the mission of young people in the Catholic Church today. It is a call to action, inviting them to be active participants in building Godā€™s Kingdom here on earth. It challenges them to reflect on how they can embody Christā€™s love, justice, and peace in their daily lives, and how they can be instruments of Godā€™s will in a world that is in dire need of hope and renewal.

Mini Vinnies had a visitor...

This weekā€™s Faith Lunch was extra special as it was the turn of the Mini Vinnies! šŸ™Œ We were thrilled to be joined by Margaret, a member of our parish SVP, who shared her inspiring story about the SVPā€”how it all began and how we can get involved in parish life. šŸ’¬āœØ

There were lots of questions, thoughtful discussions, and by the end, we came up with a fantastic action plan to show our commitment to serving others as Mini Vinnies. ā¤ļø We canā€™t wait to put our plans into action and make a difference!
